From overwhelmed to empowered: practical strategies for stress management with JCI Mayo

ARE you struggling to cope with the demands of daily life?

Stress has become an overwhelming issue for many people, and the negative impacts of stress can be felt in all aspects of life, from work to personal relationships.

JCI Mayo's upcoming workshop is an opportunity for individuals to gain valuable insights and tools to manage stress effectively, leading to a healthier and happier lifestyle.

The workshop, which will take place on Sunday, April 2, at 11.30 a.m. in ATU iHubs Castlebar, will cover various techniques to manage stress and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

JCI Mayo are thrilled to have Helen Phelan, accredited life coach and trainer, facilitate this workshop. Having acted as a consultant in the areas of stress management and personal development, Helen’s holistic self-discovery programmes are designed to bring confidence and self-awareness to participants, giving them the tools to create the future they deserve.

During the workshop, attendees will discover ways to identify their personal stress triggers, analyse the five stress hormones that can affect people, uncover ways to considerably lower stress levels to create the life they want, and learn how to hack the happiness chemicals which will likely lessen stress and lead people to being happier in who they are.

“In today's fast-paced world, we understand that young people face unique challenges that can lead to stress and anxiety,” said Charlotte Murray, the local president of JCI Mayo. “Our goal is to equip young people with the necessary tools and techniques to manage stress effectively and empower them to take control of their lives.”

Limited seats are available, so interested individuals are encouraged to register early. Take the first step and change your life from being overwhelmed to becoming empowered.
