The Castle Book Shop in Mayo supports local artist

The latest artist to be given spotlight in the Castle Book Shop, Main Street, Castlebar, is Ryan Ennis.

Ryan is an artist living in Balla. His work is currently on exhibition upstairs in the shop.

The exhibition started on March 20 and will last two months.

Ryan is known for his personalised pet portraits all over Ireland after he and his wife, Ciara, started a business as Paint and Paws.

Although Ryan specialises in pet portraits, for the exhibition in the Castle Book Shop he wanted to show more of his work.

There is a variety of work on show. Alongside a beautiful dachshund portrait, he has painted stormy seas, night scenes, and even a painting of the bookshop itself.

Ryan and the staff at Castle Book Shop welcome anyone to the shop to see the exhibition. All work on show is for sale.
