Permission sought for 81 new homes in west Mayo town

PLANS for a major new housing development in Westport have been lodged with Mayo County Council for approval.

The development is for 81 homes at Carrowbaun.

Carrabaun Developments Ltd. have submitted a planning application to the council.

Approval is being sought for the construction of 81 residential units, comprising 19 detached, 14 semi-detached and 24 terraced housing units, along with 24 apartment units.

New site access points (vehicular and pedestrian) are also included in the plan.
