Predeceased by his first wife, Anne (Byrne, née Granville) and second wife, Bid (Brigid) (Byrne, O'Carroll, née Killilea), brothers Tommy, John and Brendan and sister Anne.

Deeply mourned by his loving children Derek, Val Jnr., Ronan and Laurann, stepchildren Brian, John and Maeve (O’Carroll), brothers Fr. William (Columban) and Michael, sister Maria, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren Colin, Aidan, Ronan, Liam, Kyra, Anya, Rían, Callum, Saidhbhe, Ava, Faye and Niall, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Donnellan’s Funeral Home, Clare St., Ballyhaunis on Sunday, May 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Requiem mass will take place on Monday, May 29, at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunis. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Margaret Sweeney, Blacksod

Margaret Sweeney (née Rooney), Blacksod, Belmullet, and formerly of Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim.

Predeceased by her parents James and Annie Rooney, nephew Philip Rooney, nephew in law David Sweeney and father in law Ted Sweeney.

Beloved wife of Gerry and dear mother to Ursula, Fergus and Dermot and adored grandmother to Eva Sweeney.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, brother Paudraig (Letterkenny, Co. Donegal), sister Philomena (Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim), mother-in-law Maureen Sweeney, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Remains will repose at McDonnell Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m with funeral arriving at St. Brendan’s Church, Tirrane, at 8.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., followed by burial in Faulmore Cemetery.

Fiona Murnane, Castlebar

Fiona Murnane, Spencer St, Castlebar, and late of Dublin.

Predeceased by her parents Eileen and Ned and partner Shay.

Sadly and lovingly missed by her daughter Jamie Connor (Knock), son Jake, son-in-law Ivan, grandchildren Aaron, Killian and Ollie, sister Eileen, (London), brother Eamon, (Kilmovee), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at the Marian Funeral Home, Knock on Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 7.30 p.m.

Funeral arriving to the Church of St. John The Baptist, Knock on Saturday morning for mass at 11 a.m. followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium.

Teresa Staunton, Moygownagh

Teenie (Teresa) Staunton, Ardvarney, Moygownagh.

Predeceased by her loving brother Tommy and adored niece Mary Doyle, brothers Michael, Martin and sisters Mary Jo, Belinda and Chrissie.

Greatly missed by her loving family Padraic, Eugenie, Christina, Deirdre, Bernie and Frances and their husband’s Albert, Breen and Darren.

Remembered fondly by her sisters and brothers Mattie, Anne, Rita, Pat, and Eddie, grandnieces and grandnephews Jonathan, Cliona, Lorraine, Ciara, Olivia, Erin, Tomas, and Cara, her great-grandniece Mila, nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing at her family home on Friday, May 26, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Requiem Mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, in St. Cormac’s Church, Moygownagh, Ballina. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Tom McDermott, O'Gorman Street, Kilrush, Co. Clare, and formerly of Knockmore and Tavanaghmore.

Husband of the late Noreen and father of the late John McDermott.

Deeply regretted by his son Richard, daughters Karen, Mary, and Sandra, his sister Kathleen, brothers Tony and Richard, his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends and family.

Reposing at Cusack's Funeral Chapel Kilrush on Saturday evening from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Senan's Church Kilrush.
