Safety concerns for people crossing at Mayo county town mini roundabout

ROAD safety at the Charles Street Upper area in Castlebar require some attention, local Councillor Blackie Gavin has highlighted.

It is a dangerous location at the mini roundabout for elderly people trying to cross the road, he told a Castlebar Municipal District meeting.

Councillor Gavin requested an update on a crossing at the area, saying someone is going to get killed.
