Need for crossing in Mayo village highlighted again

THE need for a pedestrian crossing in Ballyheane has again been highlighted by Councillor Al McDonnell.

It is badly needed at the location between the school and the playground, he said.

Councillor McDonnell, speaking at the May Castlebar Municipal District meeting, said people are very concerned about children.

It's not the first time the councillor has raised the issue.
