Michael will be sadly missed by his wife Sheila, his children Niamh, Alan, Barry and Jenny. Grandchildren Aoibhe, Grace, Ella, Maebh, Madeline, Cillian, Isobel, John, Robbie, Sophie, Elise, Wendy and Stella, his brother Jack and sister Gemma, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends
Reposing at his residence on Wednesday, August 9 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Removal on Thursday, Aug 10 at 10:15 a.m. walking to St. Mary's Church for Requiem Mass at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral proceeding to Aughavale cemetery.
MICHAEL DOHERTY, PORTURLIN
Michael Doherty, Porturlin, Ballina.
Predeceased by his parents Willie and Maggie Doherty.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family, his wife Annie (née Gallagher), sons Micheál and Darren, daughters Mariesa and Donna, daughter in law Marie (Lally), Darren’s partner Michelle, sister’s Mary O’Keefe (New York), Sarah Deane (Birmingham, England), Kathleen Kennelly (Birmingham, England) and Bernadette (Dromore West, Co. Sligo), brothers Liam (Maynooth, Co. Kildare) and Patrick (London), brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.
Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with funeral arriving at the Star of the Sea Church, Cornboy at 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday afternoon at 1.30 p.m. followed by burial in Cornboy Cemetery.
MARGARET KEANE, KNOCK
Margaret Keane, Birmingham, England and formerly of Castlederg, Co Tyrone.
Dearly loved wife of the late Walter Keane formerly of Rooskey, Knock and Carrowmore. Much loved mother of Bernadette, Michael, Carmel and Shirley. Treasured by her eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Mary, Eddie, John, Tom and Joe Keane of Rooskey Knock.
Deeply missed by her sisters Bridie, Susanna and Evelyn and all extended family.
Margaret will be received into Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Birmingham on Wednesday 9 of August at 6.30 p.m.
Reposing at Marian Funeral Home, Knock on Friday evening, August 11 from 6.30 p.m. with removal at 8.00 p.m. to St. John The Baptist Church, Knock.
Funeral mass on Saturday at 11 a.m. with funeral proceeding to Knock Cemetery.
