Day one of Irish Speedgolf Open completed at Castlebar Golf Club

ROUND one of the Irish Speedgolf Open was completed at Castlebar Golf Club today.

Rob Hogan leads the way with an amazing round of 77 gross shots in 37 minutes - that gives him a score of 116.

Incredible to play each hole in an average of two minutes.

Luke Willett is in second spot on 123, followed by Paul Murphy (129) and leading woman Liz McKinnon, also on 129.

Play resumes again at 8.15 a.m. on Sunday with Rob going out first.

Speedgolf is a pretty awesome spectacle and if you have an hour to spare, please come out and cheers on the players.
