Eco-defibrillator at Mayo lake used in emergency within 48 hours of installation

Within 48 hours of a new eco-defibrillator being installed at Lough Lannagh in Castlebar, it was used in a emergency situation.

Local Councillor Ger Deere said he was glad to have funded this piece of life-saving equipment in the most used amenity in the Castlebar area by hundreds of walkers runners cyclists and groups and individuals in water activity.

He paid tribute to engineer Darren Forde of Eco Cabinets, Hollymount, for his help and direction.
