Breaffy GAA Club celebrates 70 glorious years at the heart of Mayo community

For seven remarkable decades, Breaffy GAA Club has been the beating heart of our community, fostering camaraderie, passion and sporting excellence.

As we approach this momentous milestone, the club invites all past and present members, supporters, friends and neighbours to join in celebrating the rich history, unforgettable moments and countless memories created on their cherished grounds.

The festivities are scheduled for next weekend, October 7 and 8, promising a celebration brimming with laughter, joy and nostalgia.

It's a time to reminisce about the club's triumphs, share stories and forge new memories.

With a wide array of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages, we guarantee a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

The celebration will revolve around the following events:

Saturday, October 7

Tree Planting Ceremony: 11 a.m. Location: Breaffy GAA Clubhouse.

Family Sports Fun: 1 p.m. Location: Breaffy GAA Clubhouse.

Launch of Exhibition and Celebration Event - Music with Cian Morrin plus friends at 8 p.m. Location: Breaffy GAA Clubhouse.

Sunday, October 8

Remembrance Mass: 10 a.m. Location: St. Aloysius' Church, Breaffy.

Everybody is welcome to the exhibition and coffee morning, music by Saoirse Moran, Iaila O’Malley, Ellen Shaw and Aine Fitzgerald: 10:45 a.m. Location: Breaffy GAA Clubhouse. Refreshments served.
