Countdown to Mayo's spine-tingling 'Horror in the Barracks'

The annual 'Horror in the Barracks' event takes place at the Military Barracks, Castlebar, this weekend.

It opens on Friday, from 7 to 10 p.m. for children over 12 and adults.

And on Sunday, October 29, from 4 to 6 p.m., there will have a spooky experience for children under 12, accompanied by an adult, and a full show for adults and children over 12 from 7 to 10 p.m.

Horror in the Barracks is a volunteer-run event that brings thrilling scares and chills to Castlebar.

This annual event aims to provide a scary experience for all ages while raising funds for various local community initiatives. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy the spooky season and make a positive impact on the community.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the following worthy local causes.
