Mayoman appointed to ICTU Retired Workers Committee

Claremorris man Denis O’Boyle has been selected by the Association of Secondary Teachers Ireland (ASTI) Standing Committee to represent the ASTI on the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) Retired Workers Committee for 2023 to 2025.

Denis is a member of the West Mayo ASTI Branch and the Castlebar and District Trade Union Council.

He is a former chairperson of the ASTI Pensions Sub Committee and a former director of Mayo Education Centre.

Denis recently attended the first meeting of the new committee at the ICTU offices in Dublin.
