Mayo community climate action fund talk

As part of Mayo County Council’s series of energy and climate information evenings, the upcoming event on Wednesday, November 15, at 7 p.m., in Lough Lannagh Swimming Pool, Castlebar, will focus on the Community Climate Action Fund.

The fund, which is due to open in December, will empower communities to take meaningful steps toward a greener future by supporting environmental, sustainability and climate action projects at the local level.

Mayo County Council’s community climate action officer, Lorna Dennehy, will provide valuable insights into the fund and delve into the types of projects eligible for funding.

Whether you're a community group or non-profit organisation with a passion for environmental change, this event will provide valuable information on how to access and benefit from the Community Climate Action Fund.

Details of all forthcoming events will be posted on Mayo County Council’s social media channels.
