Mayo's holy mountain 'took a hammering' during Storm Debi

Storm Debi passed through Mayo earlier this week.

And while Mayo wasn't as badly hit as other parts of the country, the new pathway on Croagh Patrick took a hammering.

A lot of work has also taken place on the Reek in recent days in reinforcing the river bank at the mountain's ford.

The damage and remedial works was captured on video by members of the path team with addition drone and mobile footage courtesy of Frank McMahon.
