SABINA LEONARD, LAHARDANE

Sabina (Biney) Leonard (née Walsh), Bofeenaun, Ballina.

She died peacefully at Abbeybreaffy Nursing Home, Castlebar.

Sabina was predeceased by her husband Peter, parents Anthony and Bridget Walsh, her brother Johnny and sister Mary Kate Newton.

Sabina will be dearly missed by her sons Anthony (Ballisodare), Peadar (Castlebar), Brendan (Castlebar), Gabriel (Massbrook), Aidan (Ballymachola), Derek (Bofeenaun) and daughter Ann (Crossmolina), sisters Annie Philbin (Derryfadda), Teresa Helly and Agnes Corcoran (UK), grandchildren David, Paul, Mary, Alan, Lorraine, Bronagh, Clodagh, Nichola, Amy, Olan, Peter and Erin, great grandchildren Jack, Ivy, Mason, Ivy, Saoirse, Eabha and Fionn, daughters-in-law, partners, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at Leonard's Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7.30 p.m.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday in St. Mary's Church, Bofeenaun, at 11.30 a.m., followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

JOHN DUNFORD, CASTLEBAR

John Dunford, Corbawn Close, Shankill, and formerly of Marian Row, Castlebar, and sometimes Lanzarote.

He died peacefully on November 18 surrounded by his loving family in the Blackrock Hospice.

Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Bernie, his brothers Steve and Tom, and nephew Kevin.

John lived every minute of his life to the full and was a generous, loving man who will be deeply missed by his wife Hilly, daughters Becky, Hannah, Katy and Emily, sons-in-law Niall and Craig, grandchildren Shay, Jude and Sid, brother Chuck, sister Derval, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his entire extended family and many close friends.

John’s career was varied and successful, including playing a leading role in the Irish music scene, teaching and lecturing, and a stretch as a salty sea captain.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, on Wednesday, from 4 to 6 p.m.,

At John’s request, his funeral will take place privately.

TONY FEEHAN, NEWPORT

Tony Feehan, Rossow, Newport.

He died at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar, on November 18.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Alice Feehan, and brother Padraic, he is sadly missed by his brother Hugh (Rossow), Seamus (Westport), sisters in law, Noreen, Ann and Rena, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Tony's kind and gentle soul rest in heavenly peace.

Reposing at the Sacred Heart Hospital Church, Castlebar, (F23 XV38) on Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock with removal at 6.30 p.m. to his residence.

Arriving at St Brendan's Church, Myna, at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Burial immediately afterwards in Myna Cemetery.

SEAMUS CAMPBELL, SWINFORD

Seamus Campbell, 'Glebe House', Kiltoom, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, and formerly of Newpark, Swinford.

He died peacefully yesterday in the loving care of his family and staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.

Predeceased by his parents Ned and Mary, sister Virginia Gallagher (Sandyford, Dublin) and brother Ted (Malvern, WORCS, UK) and beloved extended family members in (Philadelphia, USA).

Beloved husband of Teresa Hand-Campbell and adoring father of Ruth Claffey (Ballynagore, Mullingar), Ted, angel Patrick (RIP/2007), Therese and son-in-law Noel Claffey.

Survived by his sister Patricia Corrigan (Dundrum, Dublin) brother Michael (Swinford), and their respective spouses and families, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours many good friends and work associates at THC Consultancy Ltd.

Seamus will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88) on Wednesday evening ( from 5 until 7 p.m..

The funeral cortège will leave his home on Thursday morning to arrive at the Church of The Risen Christ, Ballybay, Kiltoom (N37 NY36) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o'clock.

Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

GRETTA MORRIS, BALLYGLASS

Gretta Morris (née McDonnell), North Quincy, USA and formerly of Burrin, Ballyglass, Claremorris, and Deereenmanus, Castlebar.

She died on October 30, surrounded by her loving family at her favourite place – “her lovely house”.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary McDonnell, her brother, Michael Joe McDonnell, her nephew, Michael McClintock and her beloved granddaughter, Finn McCabe.

Gretta is survived by her heartbroken children, Dylan and his partner Alyson, Aengus, and his wife Mary Ellen, Nollaig and her husband Keith, and Aoife and her husband Justin.

She also leaves her much loved grandchildren, Gavin, Kian, Eily, Faela, Avery and Rhys. She is survived by her siblings, Patrick, John, Brendan, Geraldine Breege, Liam and Kevin and their families.

All of whom will carry their amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt in their hearts forever.

Gretta's funeral and the funeral of her beloved granddaughter Finn McCabe (who died on January 15, 2021) will arrive at St. Mary's Church Carnacon on Friday at 11.30 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Afterwards Gretta and Finn will laid to rest in Burriscarra Cemetery.
