FF choses north Mayo council election candidates

FIANNA Fáil has chosen its north Mayo candidates to contest this summer's council elections.

In the Ballina electoral area, sitting councillors Michael Loftus and Annie May Reape will be joined on the ticket by David Alexander.

The party will have two candidates in the Belmullet electoral area after the weekend convention held in Achill.

Erris-based Councillor Sean Carey and Achill Councillor Paul McNamara were both ratified to contest the June 7 elections.
