Mayo native named Ireland rugby captain for Italy clash

Caelan Doris, originally from Lacken in north Mayo has been selected as Ireland rugby captain for Sunday's Six Nation's fixture against Italy.

In total there are 6 changes to the Ireland team that beat France in Marseille last week.

Finlay Bealham, James Ryan, Ryan Baird, Jack Conan, Craig Casey and Stuart McCloskey all come in to face the Italians at home.

While Jeremy Loughman, Tom O’Toole, Iain Henderson, Harry Byrne and Jordan Larmour are all named on the bench for the second game in the tournament.
