Four changes to Mayo team for league clash with Tyrone

Mayo senior football manager Kevin McStay has made four changes to his team for the Allianz National Football League round four clash with Tyrone at O'Neill's Healy Park, Omagh, this weekend.

Rob Hennelly returns between the posts in place of Colm Reape, with Stephen Coen and Enda Hession named to start ahead of David McBrien and Eoghan McLaughlin. The other change sees Ballinrobe's Diarmuid Duffy come into the team in place of Bob Tuohy.

Elsewhere it's as you were, with Diarmuid O'Connor and Jack Carney continuing at midfield while up front, Fergal Boland and Jordan Flynn are named in the half-forward line and regulars Aidan O'Shea and Ryan O'Donoghue will lead the inside line in addition to Tommy Conroy, who will captain the team on the day.

As reported earlier, there is no place in the team for captain Paddy Durcan, who is believed to have suffered an injury setback.

Meetings between the counties are relatively recent affairs. In fact, the first time they met in the league was in 1974 in Castlebar. However, since then they have been regular opponents and this weekend's game will be the 32nd league meeting between Mayo and Tyrone.

Honours have been quite evenly shared between them, Mayo winning 12 and Tyrone 13, with six games drawn. Saturday's game will be the 10th time they have clashed in Omagh.

Kildare referee Brendan Cawley is the man in the middle for Saturday's game, which throws in at 5.15 p.m. There will be live commentary on Midwest Radio with Michael D. McAndrew and Austin O'Malley, while RTÉ will have live television coverage from 5 p.m. Mayo GAA will also have live updates across all social media channels. Tickets for the game can be purchased here.

The Mayo senior team in full is as follows: Rob Hennelly; Jack Coyne, Rory Brickenden, Sam Callinan; Donnacha McHugh, Stephen Coen, Enda Hession; Diarmuid O'Connor, Jack Carney; Diarmuid Duffy, Fergal Boland, Jordan Flynn; Aidan O'Shea, Tommy Conroy, Ryan O'Donoghue.
