Mayo Young Sports Stars: Boxers with bright futures ahead

Along with being part of Mayo's All-Ireland winning Under 14 LGFA team, Grace Bailey of Castlebar BC – in her very first season – won Mayo, Connaught and national boxing championships last year.

In addition, she was narrowly beaten in the final of the National Junior Cadet Championships.

Grace's club-mate, Natalia Fasciszewska, is also a multiple award winner at local, provincial and national level, and she won gold at the International Silesian Women's Boxing Championship in Poland last September, as well as gold medal in the England Women's Multi Nations Winter Box Cup and silver in the Assasi Italy Multi Nations Championship.

Both boxers would appear to have mastered the art of ring craft, and have bright futures ahead of them.
