JOHN MCDERMOTT, BALLINA

John McDermott of Faranoo, Ballina, and formerly of Enniscrone, Co. Sligo.

Predeceased by his baby daughter Deirdre, parents Michael and Mary, brother Eddie, brothers-in-law Mike McGowan and Jerry Reynolds.

Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Louise (Shrule), Michael (Ennis), Ronan (Calgary), and Brian (Galway).

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren Ben and Jack, daughter-in-law Ira, Ronan’s partner Alicia, Louise’s partner Pat, sisters Maura McGowan, and Carmel Reynolds, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Sunday evening, March 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Funeral will arrive to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina for Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11:30 a.m. with funeral proceeding to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass, Enniscrone for burial.

KACPER SWIERKOWSKI, CASTLEBAR

Kacper Swierkowski, 43 Knockaphunta Park, Castlebar and formerly of Jedrzejow, Poland.

Predeceased by his grandfather Boguslaw.

Loving son of Robert and Jolanta and adored brother of David and Patryk. Kacper will be greatly missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, grandparents Iza and Henryk and Teresa and all his cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbours and his fellow students in Davitt College.

Kacper will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Monday, March 18, from 5.00 p.m., concluding with prayer at 7.00 p.m.

Removal from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 19, at 10.30 a.m., walking to The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m., followed by private cremation.
