GER BRADY, CLAREMORRIS

Ger Brady, Grattan Park, Claremorris and formerly of Murneen South, Barnacarroll.

He died peacefully at The Mayo Hospice after a brave battle with illness,

Ger will be sadly missed by his loving wife Karen (Bell) and their precious son Dylan, his parents Gerry and Margaret, mother-in-law Ann, sisters Elaine Forde, Tara Nally and Louise Grant, brothers-in-law Richard, Colin, Keith, Tomas and Keith, sisters-in-law Aisling, Aimee and Edel, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Ger’s remains will repose at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) from 5 p.m on Saturday until 7 p.m.

Remains will arrive to St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris for Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2 p.m with burial afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Claremorris.

DESMOND CAREY, BELMULLET

Desmond Carey (better known as Des), Colclough West, Belmullet, and formerly of Tallagh Road, Belmullet.

He died peacefully, at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Mike and Eileen Carey.

Beloved father of Frank, Desmond, Ann Marie, Siobhan and Mark and adored grandfather to Reece, Gemma, Ethan, Mia, Zoey and Marc.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, daughters-in-law Margo and Eilish, son-in- law Stan, brothers Percy (London), Cyril (Belmullet) and Aidan (Belmullet), sisters Dolores McCann (Oxford), Anna McNulty (Belmullet) and Geraldine Hubble (Belmullet and London), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet, at 9.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

ROSALEEN DIAMOND, BALLINA

Rosaleen Diamond (neé Walshe) of 111 Childers Heights, Ballina, and formerly of Bridge Street, Ballina.

She died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St Davids Retirement Home, Salthill, Galway.

Rosaleen was predeceased by her husband Noel, brothers John James, Paddy Joe, Luke, and sisters Nancy and Patsy.

She will be sadly missed by her sons Gerry and Ray, daughter-in-law, Anne, brother Liam, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Saturday evening from 4:30 p.m. with removal at 6 p.m. to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Rosaleen’s Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. with funeral proceeding afterwards to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina, for burial.

MARY PHILBIN, ROSSPORT

Mary Philbin (née Cormack), Rossport South, Ballina.

She died peacefully at Áras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet, in her 104th year.

Predeceased by her husband Anthony and sons John, Gerard and Pat.

Mary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sons Brendan, Tony and Michael, and daughter Mary, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours and all who cared for and visited Mary in Áras Deirbhle. .

Remains will repose at Healy's Funeral Home, Barnatra on Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., arriving at The Star of The Sea Church, Cornboy, at 9.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 10.30 a.m. and burial afterwards in Cornboy Cemetery.
