Toilets revamp at Croagh Patrick welcomed

PREVIOUSLY described as something from a prison camp in the 1950s, Croagh Patrick can now boast of modern toilet facilities.

The public amenities at one of the country's most iconic tourist locations have been given a complete makeover.

The refurbishment of the toilets at the car park at the foot of the mountain in Murrisk has been welcomed by Councillor Christy Hyland, who had lobbied hard for the works.

He paid tribute to Chris Moran Contractors on a very professional job.
