Kramp plans for new warehouse in County Mayo

AFTER the successful acquisition of Genfitt in Kiltimagh, Kramp has plans to establish a new state-of-the-art warehouse facility in County Mayo, underscoring the company's commitment to expansion and innovation in the region.

In line with its ambitious growth plans, Kramp has identified the need for a new warehouse facility to support great service to customers in Ireland towards the future.

Recognising that the current warehouse does not align with its ambitious vision, the company is actively searching for a suitable location to build a new facility.

The team in Genfitt is central to Kramp’s success, and, as such, the company is prioritising the proximity of the new facility to the current location to ensure minimal disruption to the team and operations.

“Kramp remains committed to County Mayo. We are proud to call County Mayo our home and are excited to continue our partnership with the local community,” said Ronan Egan, commercial director of Genfitt. “Our ongoing conversations with the county council and the IDA reflect our shared commitment to sustainable growth and economic development.

“Kramp is aiming to find a new location as soon as possible, obviously depending on the official procedures and the availability of proper land for our needs.”

As part of its expansion plans, Kramp anticipates doubling its workforce in the coming years, creating new job opportunities, and contributing to the local economy. The company remains focused on attracting top talent and fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

In summer 2023 Kramp completed the acquisition of Genfitt, a strategic move aimed at strengthening its market presence and enhancing its portfolio of offerings. This acquisition represents a significant milestone in the company's growth journey, positioning it for continued success and leadership in the agricultural industry in Ireland.
