Mayo dancing stars to entertain on TG4's An Ríl Deal this Sunday

The new series of An Ríl Deal is nearing its finale as TG4 and Adare Productions search for the next big thing in the world of Irish Dancing.

Fantastic performers of all styles of traditional dance entertain viewers over eight episodes on the show – from step dancers to sean-nós dancers to set dancers, and even a fusion of styles.

All are there to be seen as the dancers they battle it out with show-stopping numbers in the hopes of reaching the finale to be crowned winners of An Ríl Deal.

There are no age restrictions on the dancers; young, old and everything in between are showing us their moves!

The sixth episode this Sunday (April 14) features exciting entertainers from Mayo. They are: Gráinne O'Toole from Louisburgh and Atlantic Waves, dancers with the Moffatt School of Irish Dance (based in Crossmolina).

The episode also features Dublin performers Caitlin Clarke (Donnybrook, originally from San Francisco), Scoil Rince Aisling Keogh (Drimnagh), Derry dancer Molly O’Hagan (Swatragh), Belfast stars Ellie Holmes and Youcef Belouazani (world champion Irish dancer, Lenadoon) and Donegal talent Aleksandr Manziuk (Milford, originally from Ukraine).

Keeping a close eye on all the talented hopefuls are the three judges, all experts in the field of Irish dance: Labhras Sonaí Choilm Learraí and Ronan O’Connell (Galway) and Úna Ní Fhlatharta (Maynooth, Kildare).

This is the ultimate free-for-all Irish dance competition and a celebration of all the Irish dancing traditions, presented by Síomha Ní Ruairc. Previous episodes of An Ríl Deal can be viewed on the TG4 Player.

Crossmolina-based Atlantic Waves feature in this weekend's episode of An Ríl Deal on TG4.
