Mayo Under 17 team for championship opener announced

Mayo joint managers David Heaney and Tom Reilly name their panel and team for round one of the Electric Ireland Connacht GAA Under 17 football championship against Roscommon this evening (7 p.m. in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar).

Tom Hession from Eastern Gaels GAA Club will captain the team, while Mark Noonan from Claremorris GAA Club will be vice-captain.

The game will be broadcase live on Midwest Radio, with Michael D. McAndrew and John Stagg on commentary, and will also be live-streamed by Connacht GAA. Additionally, Mayo GAA will have live updates on social media.

This match is an all ticket event. Tickets can be purchased here. Sligo's John Gilmartin is down to officiate the contest.
