JACK BARRETT, BELMULLET

Jack Barrett, Attycunnane, Belmullet.

Predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary and sisters Maura and Margaret.

Beloved brother of Kathleen (Killala), Tony (Williamstown, Co. Galway), Teresa (Ballina), Patricia (Gortmellia Mills, Barnatra), Veronica (Ballina) and Paddy Joe (Ballina). Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr Fergal Ruane, Dr Keith Swanick, the nursing staff and staff of the Belmullet Community Hospital for their kindness and care to Jack during his illness.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday evening from 7.30 until 9 p.m. with funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 9.30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

LENA MCDERMOTT, KNOCK

Lena McDermott (née Walsh), Portmarnock and formerly of Knock.

Beloved wife of Michael. Loving mother of Daragh, Cathal and Aine. Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law John, her adored grandchildren, Chloe, Jack, Naomi, Hannah, Aimie, Daniel and Sean, Fionn, Senan and their mother Sara-Jane, sisters Mary and Nuala, brothers Paddy Micheal, Jarlath and Gerry, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Thursday, 18th of April 18, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Removal to St Anne’s Church, Portmarnock on Friday morning for 10 a.m. Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.

SISTER MARGARET GERAGHTY, WESTPORT

Sister Margaret Geraghty, Holy Ghost Order, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, UK and late of Myna, Kilmeena, Westport.

Deeply regretted by her brother Sean (Myna), sisters Bea Moran (Roscahill) and Eileen (London).

MARY CULLEN, CROSSMOLINA

Mary Cullen, (née Keane), Rathnamagh, Crossmolina, and formerly Cultrain, Westport.

Wife of the late Anthony, predeceased by her parents Tom and Bridget and baby John Tom. Deeply mourned by her loving son Tony, brother John Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Hiney's Funeral Home Crossmolina on Wednesday evening from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of the Assumption Ardagh.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery.

THOMAS CORDUFF, ROSSPORT

Thomas (Tom) Corduff of Croydon, London and formerly of Rossport Ferry, Rossport.

Sadly missed by his wife Ethel, children Helen and Dermot, grandchildren Rhys and Sarah, son in law Daniel and the extended family.

Tom’s remains will be reposing at the Chapel of Rest at D A Lindsay and Sons Funeral Directors, 111 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon CRO 6PU for 3 days from Monday, April 22.

Viewing Monday and Tuesday 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Wednesday 9.20 a.m. to 3 p.m., no appointment needed.

The coffin will be brought to Our Lady of Annunciation Church, Bingham Road, Croydon CRO 7EN, on Wednesday, April 24, at 4 p.m. and there will be a short service.

The coffin will remain in the Church overnight.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, Bingham Road, Croydon.

Burial afterwards at Mitcham Road Cemetary Croydon.

JOHN BYRYON, BALLINA

John Byron, 110 Chestnut Grove, Castlebar and Tone Street, Ballina.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Maureen née Thornton (Foxford), son Michael and daughters Kathryn and Monica, grandchildren Liam and Alice, relatives and friends.

John will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Afterwards John will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.
