Light rain set to return tomorrow as cool snapped promised for Mayo

A break in the fine weather is expected, according to the latest forecast.

TUESDAY, APRIL 23

Isolated patches of drizzle will die out on Tuesday morning and the rest of the day will be dry.

Mostly cloudy at first but sunny spells will become widespread by midday. A cooler day with top temperatures of 12 to 14 Celsius in light to moderate northerly winds.

It will be mainly dry until next weekend. Turning cooler later in the week.

Tuesday night will be cold and mainly dry with clear spells and some patches of mist or fog. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with light north westerly breezes.
