Mayo captain in battle to be fit for provincial final

Mayo captain Patrick Durcan is in a battle with time to be fit for the Connacht SFC final against Galway at Pearse Stadium on Sunday week.

He suffered a suspected repercussion of a thigh injury during yesterday's semi-final win over Roscommon and was forced to cry off.

Mayo manager Kevin McStay confirmed Diarmuid and Cillian O'Connor, as well as Eoghan McLoughlin, will be fit to face the Tribesmen.
