'Widespread concern' in Mayo community over lack of affordable housing

A meeting of Bangor Erris Community Action Group has been told of 'widespread disappointment and concern' over the lack of affordable social housing available to young people and families who wish to settle and continue living in the area.

The committee agreed that "action is needed on this serious issue and is now calling on local representatives and the local authority to immediately address this issue."
