MARY MAUGHAN, CASTLEBAR

Mary Maughan (née Lawrence), Riverdale Court, Knockthomas, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Kathleen Lawrence, daughter Kathleen Lawrence (Rathbawn Avenue, Castlebar), sister Annie and brothers Michael and Martin.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Jimmy, son Jimmy, sisters Winnie, Kathleen and Bridget, brothers Owen, Patrick and Bernie, son-in-law Bernard, daughter-in-law Teresa, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, relatives and her many friends.

Mary will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, on Friday evening, May 3, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. with removal at 6 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Funeral Mass in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Saturday, May 4, at 3 p.m. Afterwards Mary will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.

JOAN LOFTUS, BALLINA

Joan Loftus (née Rafter), Quignashee, Ballina and formerly of Phibsborough, Dublin.

Predeceased by her husband Vivian, parents Jack and Josie, sister Maureen, brother Willie.

Joan, beloved mother of David. Sadly missed by her son, daughter-in-law Emer, grandchildren Aria and Darragh, brothers Sean and Robert, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to St Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

VINCENT KELLY, BOFEENAUN

Vincent Kelly, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Bofeenaun.

Beloved husband of the late Lena and dear father of Keith, Louise and the late Sarah.

Sadly missed by his loving son, daughter, sisters Eileen and Mary, sons-in-law John and Andrew, grandchildren Michael, Emma, Stephen, Danielle, Vincent, Lucy and Kate, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Friday to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey arriving for 10 a.m. Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Confey Cemetery.

TOM GIBBONS, SHRULE

Tom Gibbons, Lackafinna South, Bullaun, Loughrea, Galway and formerly of Shrule.

Predeceased by his father Jack and his brother Ronan.

Tom will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend Geraldine, daughters Laura and Claire and son Cathal, son-in-law Ronan, Cathal’s partner Melissa and adored grandchildren Joe and Éala.

Tom will be forever missed by his mother Bernadette, sisters Tish and Helen, brothers John, Dermot, Peter, Gerard, David, Paul and Donal, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, his godchildren, members of the extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in Galway and Mayo.

Tom will repose in Áras Mhuire, New Inn, Ballinasloe on Thursday, May 2, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral cortege will arrive to St Joseph’s Church, Shrule, at 12.30 p.m. on Friday, May 3, for Requiem Mass for Tom at 1 p.m.

Burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.
