League of Ireland wrap: Dublin derby ends all square, leaders Shelbourne draw

There were plenty of important games in the Premier Division this evening as leaders Shelbourne faced Dundalk and Dublin rivals Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers squared off.

In the Dublin Derby, it finished 1-1 at Dalymount Park. Polish striker Filip Piszczek opened the scoring for Bohs after 23 minutes. Johnny Kenny equalised minutes before the break to make it 1-1.

At Oriel Park, league leaders Shelbourne drew 0-0 with Dundalk.

Meanwhile, Galway United drew 0-0 with Derry City at Eamonn Deacy Park.

It finished Sligo Rovers 0 Waterford 1 at the Showgrounds, after an issue with the pitch delayed kick-off.

At Richmond Park, it ended St. Pat’s 1 Drogheda United 0.

In the First Division, it was Cobh Ramblers 2 Bray Wanderers 1.

Finn Harps 1 Treaty United 0 was the final score at Ballybofey, while at Mounthawk Park, it was Kerry 0 Cork City 1.

It was UCD 1 Longford Town 0 at Belfield, while Wexford drew 2-2 Athlone Town.
