Launch of Mayo's Céide Coast Atlantic Run in Céide Fields

To coincide with Mayo Day, Ballycastle Athletics Club has announced that registration for the Céide Coast Atlantic Run is now open.

Runners who wish to 'Beat The Breeze' on Saturday, September 21, can now register via this link https://www.ceidecoasthalfmarathon.com/new-events.

Members of Ballycastle Athletics Club were joined by the manager of Céide Fields, Gretta Byrne, and the 2023 winner, Norah Newcombe Pieterse of Mayo AC, to launch this year's Céide Coast Atlantic Run in the Céide Fields.

As mentioned, race day Saturday, September 21. Participants will depart the iconic Céide Fields Visitors' Centre and take in the breathtaking vistas of Ballycastle, including Ballycastle beach, the majestic Downpatrick Head and Dún Briste sea-stack before finishing in the village itself.

The warm Ballycastle community welcome will be evident at the post-race refreshments in the community hall, where you can relive your race day moments with your family, fellow competitors and friends.
