Scorcher on the cards for Mayo this weekend

Mild conditions look set to continue on Friday, according to the latest forecast.

FRIDAY, MAY 10

Any mist and fog patches will quickly clear in the morning and tomorrow, Friday will be dry and warm with long spells of sunshine and mostly light southerly winds. Highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees, warmest inland.

It will be mostly dry, settled and warm through to Saturday. Turning more unsettled from the Atlantic later Saturday into Sunday with rain and showers returning. Cooler too into early next week.

It will continue dry on Friday night with long clear spells. Mist and fog will form overnight, particularly in parts of the south and west.

Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in light south east or variable breezes.
