Top Mayo venue gives massive lift to local economy with 30,000 visitors
The TF Royal Castlebar has just wrapped up one of its most successful seasons to date, welcoming over 30,000 visitors to Castlebar during a dazzling festive event season.
From jam-packed venues to standing ovations, the TF Royal has solidified its place as the epicentre of entertainment in Ireland’s west.
This January has been no exception, with near sell-out events including the iconic Lord of the Dance, and this weekend’s shows featuring comedic powerhouse Jimmy Carr and The Highstool Prophets.
The buzz is palpable, and the TF Royal shows no signs of slowing down.
Michael Yates, general manager of the TF Royal Castlebar, shared his enthusiasm.
He said: "The response to our event season has been phenomenal.
"I’d like to say a massive thank you to our incredible team for making it all happen and, of course, to our guests for choosing Castlebar and the TF Royal for their entertainment.
"We’re thrilled with the results and are doubling down on our mission to deliver the best live entertainment and guest experiences in Ireland’s west.”
Carmel Kelly, director of operations, added: "We love what we do, and bringing this many people to Castlebar benefits the whole town.
"From hairdressers to petrol stations, bars to retailers, everyone knows when there is an event on in the TF.
"We’re also delighted to have opened up our bedrooms again and are now taking overnight bookings for upcoming events."
