Mayo community mourns passing of 'lovely lady' Cynthia Rawson

The death has taken place of Cynthia Rawson (née Spearin), Coarsepark, Castlebar, and late of Co. Limerick.

A popular and affable personality, she was a dedicated member of Cór Mhaigh Eo County Choir for many years.

Fond tributes are being paid to her on social media where is described as 'a lovely lady' and 'a great neighbour.'

"Cynthia was kind, beautiful, gentle and great fun always," another tribute stated.

She is deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Joseph, daughter Louise (Murphy, Knock, sons Paul (London) and Cathal (Ballyheane), son-in-law Brian, daughter-in-law Paula, grandchildren Sophie, Charlie, Alexa, Juliette, their mother Aisling and grandson Liam (Murphy), brother Joe (Clonlara, Co. Clare), sister-in-law Margaret, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

Cynthia will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to her residence.

Removal from her residence on Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyheane, followed by Cremation Service at 1 p.m. in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
