Historic Mayo abbey set to unveil 'exciting' development proposal

Ballintubber Abbey's next chapter - Bridging History & Future -' is set to unveil an exciting development for the abbey's future.

This event will take place on Monday, April 7, in Ballintubber Abbey.

The official launch will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. following a live broadcast by MidWest Radio from 9 to 11 a.m.

The occasion will mark the launch of a new website and booking system, the presentation of a Strategic Plan for 2025–2028 and an update on the commencement of the Ballintubber Abbey Cultural and Heritage Visitor Centre, set to begin later this year.

Minister Alan Dillon and Minister Dara Calleary will be in attendance along with local councillors.
