Minister to officially open new Mayo active travel scheme

The Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien will officially open the Creggs Road Active Travel Scheme in Ballina on Monday, May 19, next.

A sum of €200,000 was announced for the project which runs from the Quay Road car park in the town to Quignamanger National School on Creggs Road.

The development greatly improves safety for cyclists and pedestrians at the location.
