Mayo Women's League unveil new sponsor for Under 19 and Under 17 girls competitions

The Mayo Women's League has announced a new sponsor for its Under 19 Girls League and Cup - Hayes Mechanical & Engineering.

The company is also coming on board as sponsors of the Under 17 Girls Cup and Shield competitions, which get underway this week.

Based in Ballintubber, Hayes Mechanical & Engineering are specialists in bespoke fabrication.

As well as providing quality service and products, the Hayes family are committed to building a sustainable future for their company and staff while also investing in local community groups and organisations.

League chairperson Michael Collins welcomed the new partnership, noting the company's commitment to high quality services and playing an active role in the community.

The Mayo Women's League promotes an ethos that includes respect, integrity and inclusivity, he said, and the league looked forward to working with them.

The Under 17 Cup and Shield semi-finals will be played next week (Tuesday, May 20), with the finals taking place at Umbro Park, Milebush, on Sunday, May 25.

Two quarterfinals will be played this Tuesday (May 13), with Killala v Manulla in the cup and Ballyvary Blue Bombers v Castlebar Celtic in the shield.

The Under 19 League commences next month.

The draws for the Under 17 Girls Cup semi-finals are: Claremorris v Killala/Manulla; Westport v Kilmurry.

Under 17 Shield draws: Ballina v Ballyvary Blue Bombers/Castlebar Celtic; Snugboro v Ballyglass.
