Mini heatwave on the cards as temperatures to soar in Mayo

The country looks set to bask in Summer heat this week, according to the latest forecast.

TUESDAY, MAY 13

Sunny spells and showers, some heavy or thundery showers are possible in the afternoon and evening.

Highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees generally, in a moderate easterly breeze.

Mixed conditions at first with showers or longer spells of rain, before settled conditions return later in the week and for next weekend.

TUESDAY NIGHT:

Becoming dry overnight with clear spells.

Temperatures not falling below 8 to 11 degrees, with light easterly breezes.
