ALDONA ELZBIETA MALINOWSKA, CASTLEBAR

Aldona Elzbieta Malinowska (née Nowacka), 10 Aglish Estate, Castlebar and formerly of Ostrow Wielkopolski, Poland.

Dearly loved wife of the late Roman and loving mother of Konrad (Castlebar) and Mateusz (Poland).

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken sons, daughter-in-law Hanna, her cherished grandchildren Jakub and Maja (Castlebar) and Kacper (Poland).

Aldona will lie in repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Tuesday, May 13 from 7 p.m. concluding with prayers at 8 p.m.

The Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Wednesday, May 14 for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by private cremation at Shannon Crematorium.

Aldona’s cremains will be interred with her beloved husband Roman, in Poland at a later date.

NOEL O'REILLY, NEWPORT

Noel O'Reilly, Drimurla, Newport, and formerly of Drumarg, Armagh.

Predeceased by his wife Mary Ann, father Michael, mother Margo, brother Mickey and sister Yvonne.

Noel will be dearly missed by his children Amy, Rachel, Conor, Mickey, Anthony and Sarah, sisters Shirley, Josepha, Bernie and Michelle, mother in law Mary, sisters in law Monica and Hilary, brother in law Michael, grandchildren, extended families, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in St. Dominick's Funeral Home, Newport, on Tuesday evening May 13 from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Family, Fahy.

Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PADDY O’TOOLE, BALLINA

Paddy O’Toole, Bohernasup, and formerly of Doolough, Gweesalia, Ballina.

Predeceased by his brothers, Des and Joe, and his son-in-law, Christy Mc Loughlin.

Beloved husband of Jacqueline and loving father to Jackie Mc Loughlin (Ballina), John (Dublin), Padraig (Claremorris) and Helen Browne (Galway).

Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons, daughter-in-law, Ingrid, son-in-law, Tom and Padraig’s partner, Marie, sister Maureen, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, wider family circle and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Wednesday evening, May 14 from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7.30 p.m. to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Thursday morning, May 15 at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

GERALDINE MCDONNELL, CLAREMORRIS

Geraldine McDonnell, Carnahaltor, Ballyglass, Claremorris, and more recently of Cartron Bay, Sligo.

Predeceased by her son Michael in October 2020 and her parents Joseph and Mary McDonnell, her sister Gretta and her brother Michael Joe.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughter Emma (Cartron Bay, Sligo), sister Breege, brothers John, Pat, Brendan, Liam and Kevin, son-in-law Joe McWalter, cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Lucas, Maeve and Rose, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, all the family circle and her many friends.

Geraldine was a devoted mother and adoring grandmother. She liked to keep busy and she had many and varied interests. She loved to go on walks, she enjoyed baking and sewing, art, drawing and painting and doing her daily crossword puzzle. Geraldine will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind, compassionate and caring person, who was well liked by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Geraldine will repose in Carnacon Community Centre on Wednesday, May 14 from 6.30 p.m. to 8.15 p.m., with removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carnacon, arriving at 8.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 15 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private cremation in Shannon Crematorium.

Geraldine’s cremains will be interred with her beloved son Michael at a later date.

DEREK MURPHY, KILLALA

Derek Murphy, Georges St, Killala, and formerly of Dundrum, Dublin.

Derek was a beloved son, brother and friend.

He will be missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service to honour Derek’s life will be held at the Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, on Wednesday, May 14, at 2 p.m.

All who knew him are welcome to attend and celebrate his memory.

Reposing at Lynn's funeral home, Killala on Monday 12 from 5 p.m., with removal at 7 p.m. to St Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina, for prayers at 7.30 p.m.

Funeral Mass in St Muredach's on Tuesday at 11.30 a.m., followed by burial in Attymass new cemetery.

MARTHA O'BOYLE, BALLYHAUNIS

Martha (Mary) O’Boyle, Larganboy, Ballyhaunis.

Deeply regretted by her husband Séan, sons Peter (Dublin), Kevin (Galway), Séan (USA) and Tom (Larganboy), daughter Maria (Galway), 17 grandchildren, brother Tommy Joe (Bohola), daughters-in-law Pauline, Pattie, Sharon and Julianna, son-in-law Paul, sister-in-law Bridie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home in Larganboy on Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
