Mayo Under 9 - 11 children's games a huge success

THE Westnet Mayo Under 9 - Under 11 Children’s Games took place in Claremorris in glorious sunshine. Over 380 girls and boys from all corners of Mayo competed in an array of events to bring the spoils back to their clubs.

Competition was keen with some old faces to the fore and some new athletes shining on the day. It was great to see all the athletes having a good time and enjoying the day. Best of luck to all who qualified for the Connaught championships.

Thanks to the Red Cross who officiated on the day and to the ladies from Claremorris who kept the officials supplied with food and beverages.
