Funeral of Mayo man who died in accident at workplace
THE funeral of a Mayo man who died following a fall at a house where he was working will take place on Sunday and Monday.
The community has been rallying around the family of Patrick Kilcoyne, from Errew, Castlebar, since his tragic passing on Tuesday.
From his Davitt College days, where he always had a smile, to his later working and family life, Patrick was much loved and respected.
One tribute on rip.ie recalled: “Pat was always a gentleman to deal with and a great worker.”
Predeceased by his uncle Paddy Heneghan, he is deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, wife Sharon (nee Reilly, Bourhave, Belmullet), sons Darragh and Padraic, daughter Michaela, parents Pat and Maureen, brother Tommy (Pamela), sisters Valerie (Padraig), Marie O'Brien, Tourmakeady (John), parents-in-law Pat and Mary Reilly (Bourhave, Belmullet,) uncle Tom Heneghan (Chicago), aunts Betty McGeogh (Tourmakeady), Carmel Shoevlin (Tourmakeady) and Ann Reid (Derrycoosh), brothers-in-law Adrian, Seamus, Noel, Michael, Padraig and John, sisters-in-law Sharon, Sarah and Pamela, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom sympathy is extended on their great loss.
Patrick will be reposing at Ballyheane Community Centre on Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m., followed by removal to his home.
Funeral arriving to St. Patrick Church, Ballyheane, on Monday for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m., followed by removal to Shannon Crematorium for committal service at 4 p.m.
