New residential care facility earmarked for Mayo county town

A planning application is being lodged for a new residential care facility in Castlebar.

Communicare Healthcare Limited has revealed plans for the development at Garryduff Park in the town.

The project will involve the demolition of an existing dwelling, garage and workshop at the location and constructing a residential care facility with seven bedrooms, living areas and communal rooms.
