Contenders for Mayo Under 17 Girls Cup and Shield finals decided

AFTER a riveting evening's football, the contenders for this year's Hayes Mechanical & Engineering Mayo Under 17 Cup and Shield finals have been decided.

Manulla FC and Westport United will contest the Cup final, with Ballina Town taking on Snugboro FC in the Shield - both finals will be played at Umbro Park, Milebush, next Sunday (Shield final 11.30 a.m., Cup final 2 p.m.).

The results from last night's (Tuesday) semi-finals were as follows:

Ballina Town 7-3 Ballyvary
