New Wild Wellness experience launches in Mayo

THIS May sees the launch of a powerful new outdoor retreat in County Mayo that brings together ancient therapy and modern wellness practices in a truly unique setting.

Wild Wellness Mayo, now open near Kilkelly, offers a rare combination of Amatsu therapy, conscious breathwork, a wood-fired sauna and ice barrel immersion - all in the peace and beauty of the Mayo countryside.

Designed as a two-hour experience to reset the nervous system and restore balance in body and mind, Wild Wellness Mayo offers something different for those seeking real recovery in nature.

At the heart of the experience is Amatsu therapy - a gentle hands-on treatment rooted in ancient Japanese principles. Amatsu works with the body’s structure and energy to support posture, improve alignment and ease pain without force.

Combined with guided breathwork the deep heat of a handcrafted sauna and the invigorating plunge of cold water immersion it delivers a full reset for the whole system.

Created by Gearóid Lynch, a qualified Amatsu practitioner and yoga teacher, Wild Wellness Mayo was born out of a need for more natural grounded alternatives to traditional spa or wellness options.

“People want more than pampering. They want to feel well and connected again. That’s what this is about - creating space for real restoration and reconnection in nature,” explains Gearóid.
