Mayo native departs Finn Harps due to family commitments

David Cawley, who joined from Sligo Rovers last summer, is leaving Ballybofey-based Finn Harps due to family commitments.

Cawley amassed over 400 senior appearances in the League of Ireland from his time at the Bit o' Red, St. Patrick’s Athletic, Galway United and most recently at Finn Harps, where his departure will be seen as a serious blow to the club's playoff hopes.

Harps released a brief statement expressing gratitude towards the Ballina man.

“Everyone at the club would like to thank David for his efforts and commitment during his time at Finn Park and wish him the best of luck for the future.”
