GAA: Armagh defeat Dublin while Derry and Galway draw in thriller
Armagh are in the All-Ireland football quarter-finals after a 0-24 to 0-19 victory over Dublin.
After a strong start from Dublin that saw them go 0-6 to 0-3 up after nine minutes, scores from Rian O'Neil and Rory Grugan put Armagh in control.
Armagh took control of the kick-out, and took a 0-13 to 0-9 lead into half-time.
Dublin's struggles in front of goal continued as they hit 15 wides through the game, with Armagh seven points ahead in the 40th minute.
A two-pointer from Paddy Small saw the gap reduced to five points with 10 minutes to go, but Dublin could not capitalise as Armagh won the game and group.
Conor Doherty kicked a late equaliser to leave Derry and Galway level on 2-20 to 4-14.
With both sides needing a win, it was Derry who started stronger, with a goal from Conor Glass helping them to a 1-8 to 1-2 lead after 18 minutes, with Galway's first goal coming from Robert Finnerty.
Galway had a second goal through Shane Walsh, but it was Derry who lead 1-11 to 2-7 at the interval.
Derry started the second half stronger and extended their lead through a goal from Niall Loughlin.
However, as the game looked to be slipping away from Galway, two goals in the final minutes by Matthew Tierney gave them the lead, before Doherty's last second a point rescued a draw.
It leaves both sides on one point from two games so far and still just about in the championship.
Donegal have gotten the better of Cavan by 3-26 to 1-13.
Jim McGuinness side took control from throw-in, with the goal coming from Caolan McColgan, Conor O'Donnell, and Finbarr Roarty helping hem bounce back from defeat to Tyrone.
That leaves all four teams in Group 1 on two points from two games.
