Sunday Sport: Armagh lead Dublin, Derry and Galway draw
GAA
There was a dramatic finish to the first of the round 2 games in the All-Ireland Football Championship this afternoon.
Conor Doherty kicked a late equaliser to leave Derry and Galway level on 2-20 to 4-14.
The Tribesmen thought they had won it with a Matthew Tierney goal near the hooter.
It leaves both sides on 1 point from two games so far and still just about in the championship.
That result means the winner of the clash between Armagh and Dublin is guaranteed to progress.
They're heading into the second half at Croke Park where it's Dublin 0-08 Armagh 0-13.
Elsewhere Donegal have gotten the better of Cavan by 3-26 to 1-13.
That leaves all four teams in Group 1 on 2 points from 2 games.
They're into the second half in Clones and it's Clare who lead Monaghan by 0-14 to 0-07 in Group 3
Kildare are heading for the quarter finals of the Tailteann Cup.
The Lilywhites beat Sligo by 4-19 to 1-24 at Dr Hyde Park this afternoon.
That gives them a third win out of three games in group 1.
Meanwhile in that group, Leitrim got the better of Tipperary 3-9 to 10 points.
Elsewhere, Fermanagh went top of Group 4 with a 25 point to 1-17 win over Wexford.
Carlow failed to capitalise on that Wexford loss as they were beaten 1-20 to 1-15 by Longford.
Antrim are off the bottom of Group 3 thanks to a 1-22 to 1-14 victory over London.
The draw for the preliminary quarter finals takes place this evening.
