Teens' charity walk from Mizen to Malin passing through Mayo

FOUR 17-year-old boys from Kildare are currently on the road for a charity walk from Mizen Head to Malin Head in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

They'll be passing through Mayo today and tomorrow, so show them your support if you see them.

Finn Craig, Keane Marquadt, Sean Durcan and Sean Judson have raised €16,000 so far of their €20,000 target. You can support them by donating here.

The four arrived in Tuam yesterday evening and this morning they are back on the road again, walking from Tuam to Tooreen.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) they will depart Tooreen to walk to Carnaree/Carrownree in Sligo, via Tubbercurry.

While feet and bodies are beginning to ache as they are walking the equivalent of a marathon every day, the boys are very determined and spirits are high.
