Mixed conditions to persist ahead of the weekend for Mayo

Mayo set to escape worst of showery weather tomorrow, according to the latest forecast.

FRIDAY, JUNE 13

It will be mostly dry to start tomorrow with some sunny spells as the showery rain clears northwards.

Further scattered showers will spread from the south in the afternoon, some possibly heavy and thundery.

Highs of 17 to 21 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds, backing southerly.

FRIDAY NIGHT:

There'll be a mix of clear spells and showers on Friday night, the showers are likely to be most frequent in the south of the country.

Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with light easterly or variable winds.
